My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and authentic. I aim to create a space where you can show up as you are and feel supported in exploring both your challenges and strengths. I bring warmth, curiosity, and humour to the room, and I believe growth happens through genuine connection and gentle challenging that encourages new perspectives. Together, we’ll explore patterns, build awareness, and find tools that help you feel more grounded and confident in navigating life’s ups and downs. My hope is that you leave each session feeling seen, empowered, and a little more connected to yourself.
To me, therapy is a space for collaboration, a space where you can feel empowered to reconnect with your strengths. I believe in the healing power of connection, and my approach is founded in person-centred care and informed by evidence based practices. I integrate approaches that are trauma-informed, attachment-based, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive. I strive to support you in exploring your values and discovering meaning, walking alongside you as you work toward what matters most. As a person of colour, I am mindful of how culture, identity, and lived experiences shape mental health. I work to honour your story and draw on both my clinical training and lived experiences to provide care that is holistic and personalized to you. Through my work with various organizations, I have learned that counselling is not always accessible or easy to begin, and I deeply value the courage it takes to show up and start this process. I am so glad you are here and look forward to creating a space that feels rooted in connection and authenticity.
As a person of colour, I grew up witnessing the stigma and barriers to accessing mental health care within my community. This inspired me to enter the field and be part of the movement to reduce stigma and make counselling more inclusive. It is a true privilege to walk alongside my clients, learn from their stories, and I feel grateful every day to be part of their journey. I hope to continue helping make mental health care more accessible and equitable for everyone.
