We understand that assessments are a big process and may feel intimidating, so we’re doing things differently to help ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
This is how an assessment with us looks:
To begin, take 3 - 5 minutes to answer our questionnaire so we can determine which assessment
may be best for you. Then, our team will connect with you on a call (15 - 20 minutes) to confirm all the details, including a pricing estimate, and to make sure everything fits based on your needs. From there, they’ll walk you through everything you need to know before booking your clinical interview.
Throughout each step of the process, our team will communicate with you regularly via email and answer any questions you may have.
The next step involves the clinical interview which will take 80 minutes. Here, you can expect to discuss consent, relevant history, your presenting concerns, assessment questions and goals, and the overall assessment process with the psychologist.
With your consent, your psychologist may interview or send forms to other people in your life, such as a health professional or teacher, and conduct observation sessions to collect more insights (depending on the assessment). They may also review past assessments, records, or more. The psychologist will always let you know what information they wish to collect so you are both always on the same page!
The psychologist will schedule you to complete standardized tests. At DiveThru, we use standardized tests to offer a structured, measurable way to assess areas like attention, mental health, and cognitive skills. This helps us get a clear and comprehensive understanding of your unique strengths and challenges. The number and length of these sessions will vary depending on the type of assessment and your needs.
Once your psychologist has gathered all the information they need, they will interpret and write a report with personalized recommendations, which may include a diagnosis if appropriate. Our team will schedule you for an 80-minute feedback session where your psychologist will walk you through the findings, talk about potential next steps and answer any questions you may have. After this session, you'll receive the finalized report.

This fee includes clinical interviews with the client and relevant sources, observation sessions, testing, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and the feedback session, which can vary by assessment and individual.
