  • My Approach

I see the client as the expert of their life, and I share evidence-based knowledge that can further support them. I am personable and my style can be as flexible or as structured as one would like. I enjoy keeping a collection of resources, materials, and books to recommend if interested. I am open to helping a client express themselves outside of talk therapies using modalities such as art, the life storyboard narrative tool and other modalities. Feel free to bring in your favourite lyrics, poem or picture into our sessions.

  • My Philosophy

My belief is to use a relational nonjudgmental approach using a trauma-informed, client-centred, anti-oppressive lens. I believe in sharing my knowledge to help define values and achieve client goals.

  • My Why

I grew up inner city and saw children raised in families experiencing poverty, mental health and substance use. I saw how important the community was, along with mentors to build resiliency. I learned about psychology along the way and human development and went into play therapy at the start of my career.
