  • My Approach

    Recognizing the value of taking my clients’ physical, mental, and spiritual well-being into account, I believe in meeting my clients where they are and tailoring therapy to fit their unique needs. Our therapeutic journey may draw from a range of modalities, including evidence-based ones such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as humanistic ones such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and among others, to offer an integrative approach to empowering you through your healing journey. I also recognize the complexities of the male psyche and that men face unique pressures and expectations in society, and I work closely with them to address these concerns with curiosity and compassion. I also support couples in navigating through challenges to enhance their communication patterns, deepen their connection, and build a more fulfilling relationship.

  • My Philosophy

    As a psychotherapist, my philosophy is simple: many of our challenges, whether in connection with anxiety, trauma, or conflict, can often be traced back to dishonesty — with ourselves and/or with others. Discovering your truth is vital to your healing journey. l am committed to building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients so that we can uncover root causes and embark on this journey together. With years of combined educational and professional experience in the field of mental health, I have become acutely aware of client-specific needs and am dedicated to using a holistic, collaborative, and tailored approach that places the client at the centre of their healing journey. Drawing on my life experiences, my approach is grounded in empathy, warmth, and professionalism.

  • My Why

    After going through a particularly dark time in my own life, I finally sought out therapy and it changed my life. The guidance, support, and coping tools I received from my therapist helped me permanently turn my life around for the better. Witnessing the power of therapy firsthand ignited a passion in me to become a psychotherapist myself, so that I could be that same catalyst for change for others who are struggling. I know what it's like to feel lost and alone, and I am open to sharing my personal journey for the benefit of others.

Emad’s fees are:

50-Minute Session: $170

80-Minute Session: $255

Our therapy services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance provider or benefit plan. To confirm your plan’s coverage, please contact your insurance provider.

Emad’s appointments can be direct billed to GreenShield and The Co-operators.

Don’t see your insurance listed?

If we’re unable to direct bill your insurance provider, you’ll be able to submit the receipt we send at the end of your session to your insurance provider for reimbursement yourself.
