My therapy style is predominantly from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) lens, as I think our core beliefs shape the way we navigate the world. I also incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) and positive psychology because I believe it can be too easy to be consumed by our problems. I want to cater my therapy sessions to exactly what you need at the moment, whether serious and in-depth or humorous and lighthearted. My primary goal is your comfort and success on your healing journey.
Our mind is our most powerful asset but can also be our worst enemy. I believe the therapy process is a journey achieved through shifting perspectives or having an unbiased voice to empower a change we didn’t know we could make. Through empathy and vulnerability, we can create a connection within ourselves and our world. You are more capable than you think and stronger than you know.
Ever since a young age, I have always been described as a “helper” and have always felt the happiest when I impacted the lives of others, even in a small way. As I grew older, this helper complex transformed into a curiosity about people, specifically their inner battles and fascinating stories that often go unheard. I decided to become a therapist because I wanted a job where I could hear people’s stories and help them navigate the battles that no one sees. I wanted a job where I could continuously help others while also learning from every client I met.
