Our Assessment Process

Every person’s journey is unique. That’s why our process is designed to be collaborative, transparent, and personalized to your needs. Your psychologist will guide you through every stage with clarity, compassion, and expertise.

Screening Call & Clinical Interview:

Begin with a quick form and complimentary call. Then your psychologist will meet with you to learn about your history, current concerns, and the question you are hoping the assessment will answer

Testing Sessions:

You will complete validated tests and questionnaires that help us understand areas like your mental health, thinking and learning skills, emotions, or behaviour. The specific tools depend on the type of assessment.

Feedback Session & Report:

Your psychologist walks you through the results, outlining recommendations for next steps, and provides you with a detailed report.

Assessment Rates

Assessments are billed hourly, with typical duration ranges. Your clinician will provide an estimate before beginning, which will include scoring, interpretation, report writing and a feedback session.

While we don’t offer direct billing for assessments, we recommend checking with your health benefit plans to see if you have coverage for reimbursement.

Billed at $235/hour*. Our Assessments typically take 6–12 hours, depending on your needs and the type of assessment

*Fees are aligned with the recommended fee schedule outlined by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. Our assessments follow a capped fee, which will be communicated to you during your screening call.

Take a few minutes to complete our screening form. Then you’ll be prompted to book a screening call with our assessment team. On the call, they’ll review your screening form and learn more about you to let you know about the recommended assessment and fee. They’ll answer all your questions, and if you’re ready to proceed, they’ll support you with the booking process.

The assessment can but not always result in a formal diagnosis. A diagnosis is only provided if the psychologist determines that it is appropriate based on the assessment data.

Even if you do not receive a formal diagnosis, you may likely still receive valuable insights on your experiences and receive tailored recommendations on next steps from the psychologist.

At the moment, we are unfortunately not able to provide direct billing. If you have benefits, we strongly encourage you to check with your insurance provider regarding your coverage for reimbursement prior to booking. We provide detailed invoices after each session.
