  • My Approach

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe and supported to express yourself freely. While I take my work seriously and always maintain a high level of professionalism, I also create a casual, warm, and friendly environment for my clients.

  • My Philosophy

I have worked extensively with teenagers and adolescents in childcare, mentoring, and shelter settings, which has given me a deep understanding of the emotional struggles young people often face. I strive to create a nurturing, safe space where clients of all ages feel empowered to share openly and without judgment. In addition to my work with youth, I also have significant experience supporting adult populations, particularly in areas related to trauma, attachment, and grief. I take a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach to therapy, tailoring my care to meet each individual’s unique needs. My goal is always to foster healing, self-awareness, and growth - wherever someone is in their mental health journey.

  • My Why

My journey into counselling psychology was inspired by my own struggles with mental health during my teenage years and early adulthood—a time when support felt inaccessible and representation was lacking. As a third-culture Black woman living in Canada, I often felt unseen by the mental health system. These experiences motivated me to become the representation I didn’t see and to create space for others to feel understood and supported. I’m passionate about destigmatizing mental health and normalizing help-seeking within the Black community. My goal is to provide culturally responsive care that empowers individuals to heal and thrive.
