  • My Approach

I tend to be warm, friendly, and direct with my clients. I strive to continuously provide a safe and nonjudgmental space. Showing a sense of openness and interest in my clients' concerns helps promote comfort and support rapport-building. I have adopted modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy within my therapeutic approach.

  • My Philosophy

My philosophy is that everyone struggles with one thing or another, and it is important to recognize that taking the first step toward healing can be difficult. I believe in operating as an advocate for my clients' psychological well-being by ensuring they feel welcomed and heard. One of the ways to do so is through humility and recognizing that everyone has their own experience. Using client-centered, intersectional, and trauma-informed lenses has helped me better ease the therapeutic and human experience.

  • My Why

At first, what piqued my interest in becoming a counselling therapist was a desire to understand people. As I continued in my studies and career, I began to reflect on the stigma around mental health that still exists and how it continues to affect people's overall well-being. I want to be part of the group working toward positive change, while helping individuals with different struggles in life strive toward betterment.
