  • My Approach

    I tend to be relaxed but quite direct, integrating humour into my therapy approach. I want my potential client matches to know that I’m flexible and willing to work with anyone. I’m happy to offer all the tools and support I can, as long as they’re suitable for the client. Therapy isn’t meant to be a lifelong commitment to one therapist, so I check in often about what’s useful and where I may be missing the mark or where we need to adjust expectations together. I like to include some artistic elements in therapy, allowing clients to express their narratives and explore their stories through alternative mediums. Sometimes people share poetry, bring their journals, doodle with me, or share their music, and we can learn a lot through exploring these parts of a person. I want my clients to remember that we’re all HUMAN; we’re going to have very human moments together, and there’s no right or wrong way for them to show up.

  • My Philosophy

    My philosophy on therapy reflects my worldview: what truly matters is the meaning we choose to make of our experiences and how our actions impact the world around us. I was drawn to this work after a decade as a hairstylist, where I listened to and connected with people and their stories. I embrace a holistic perspective, acknowledging the grey areas, hard truths, exceptions, and opposing ideas. This approach helps me to examine my own beliefs and cultivate compassion for others.

  • My Why

    I was a hairstylist for many years, and it always felt like I could do more with a bit more education and training. I want to be a better listener and better support for people. I have had a lot of life experiences that have further softened my views of humanity; we need connection and compassion possibly more than ever. So, I just hope to contribute to a world where people feel better equipped to take on the tough stuff so they can truly enjoy the good stuff.

Cora’s fees are:

50-Minute Session: $220
80-Minute Session: $330

Our therapy services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance provider or benefit plan. To confirm your plan coverage, please contact your insurance provider.

Don’t see your insurance listed?

If we’re unable to direct bill your insurance provider, you’ll be able to submit the receipt we send at the end of your session to your insurance provider for reimbursement yourself.
