My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply compassionate. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can bring your full, authentic self — messy parts and all. Grounded in a trauma-informed perspective, I prioritize your safety, choice, and trust throughout our work together. I integrate evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to provide practical tools that will help you better understand your patterns, regulate difficult emotions, and cultivate mindfulness and self-compassion. Together, we tailor the process to meet your needs, whether that means deep reflection, skill-building, or creative exploration. My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling seen, empowered, and equipped to engage more fully with your life.
I believe therapy should feel like a real connection, not a checklist. Healing doesn’t happen in perfect steps, and you don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. I show up with curiosity, compassion, and a healthy dose of honesty, because the best work happens when you feel safe to be your full, unfiltered self. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I’ll meet you where you’re at, and we’ll work together to make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, examining what’s getting in the way, exploring root causes, and finding meaningful ways forward. We’ll focus on what matters most to you and explore what healing truly looks like in your life. Above all, I believe in the power of being seen, heard, and supported exactly as you are. That’s where real change begins.
I’ve always had a strong desire to support and help others, and it is something that’s felt natural to me for as long as I can remember. Being part of the anxiety club myself (and let’s be honest, it’s not always the most fun membership) has given me a firsthand understanding of the challenges many face. That combination of personal experience and a genuine passion for helping others is what led me to become a therapist. I want to create a space where people feel truly seen, heard, and supported, just like I needed, and to walk alongside them as they find their own path to healing and resilience.
